With Mark Reid FRGS – author of ‘The Inn Way’ guidebooks & Mountain Leader

The Coniston Seven Summits mountain walk is one of the Lake District’s finest mountain days taking in the 7 MOUNTAIN SUMMITS in the Coniston range of Lakeland fells, guided by Mark Reid, an experienced Mountain Leader.

  • Swirl How (802m)
  • Great Carrs (788m)
  • Grey Friar (770m)
  • Brim Fell (796m)
  • Old Man of Coniston (803m)

Experience the thrill of the mountains, with spectacular views, dramatic landscapes and a real sense of achievement as you walk along the high-level broad ridges that link up the Coniston range of mountains, with the famous Old Man of Coniston at its heart. Each summit has its own character with amazingly contrasting views.

The Coniston Seven Summits mountain walk is a physically demanding walk covering 12.5 miles (20-km) with 1,290m of ascent, which requires a good level of fitness.
